I have had a weight problem all my adult life, ok not all of it because while I was in the Army I did keep my weight down because of daily exersize, but I still had a problem with keeping it down. I know in my brain that exersize and good nutrition are key factors in weight control. With that said, I still have difficulty reminding my self of these facts.
I have tried several different types of diets. Each one had its own benefits and each one failed for me. Why? Mostly they failed because I have no absolutely NO self control. Try as I do to convince myself that I am not hungry I am bored, or that even tho I might have a bit of stress from time to time I don't need to eat to get rid of that stress.
Working from home you would think that I have the ideal place to ensure that I eat healthy meals throughout the day. I have my own kitchen to cook a healthy meal when I am hungry and need it. I don't do too bad during the day because I am busy with my business. My biggest problem happens in the evening during "my time" when I am done talking to my downline and customers. I turn off my work mode and go into fun time. But fun time often brings on that little voice in my head that says "oh wouldn't a snack be great now". I know I'm not hungry because my stomach isn't making any obnoxious noises. But still that voice keeps at me - snack snack snack! Of course I answer that little voice and head of to the kitchen. The hard part sometimes is that my little voice says snack but my tastebuds say what kind? So, I might grab something eat it and a few minutes later it says "nope that wasn't what I was talking about". Back to the kitchen. Ok so admit it some of you have this same problem.
I was introduced to Plexus by my sister, who by the way also has a weight problem. She showed me the web page and I began to read everything I could as well as look at the before and after pictures. So I did it. I started using Plexus. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it tastes great. Kind of like a strawberry flavored lemonade.
I did notice that it helped my little voice to quiet itself. I am so glad for that. I still try to eat healthy meals and drink enough water throughout the day. But I haven't had that desire for those nightly snacks, and when I did feel a bit hungry I would now grab a banana or small handfull of nuts.
I began my Plexus adventure on the 5th of May 2014, I was 160 pounds. I haven't checked my weight yet because it has only been 18 days and I really just want to check my progress every 30 days or so.
Here are my day one photos.

So as my journey begins so does the reduction of my body fat.
